My mom is a Melody–
Rocking to hymns, sweet and soft
Guiding quite gently, never cross
Directing innocence, with Grace
A Genuine smile on her face
My mom is an Opera–
Scores of tragedies to proclaim.
The climax may grow with intensity
Though her vibrant tones remain
Beautiful harmonic orchestration
My mom is Mercy–
Tolerance, her gift of grace
Extending through Forgiveness
Her Generosity; pure n’ unending
Her Charity extending to all.
No worry on her face
