Escape Down the Roman Road
Excerpt, from Escape Down the Roman Road, “Are you hauling around more than you can carry? Are you shackled to the past? Are the balls and chains slowing you to a dead stop? Are you full of bitterness and resentment? You can allow bitterness and resentment to destroy you, or you can ask God to take it away. He will deliver you from bondage, and develop you into the beautiful creation He intended you to be. So let it go, break those chains, and give it to God. The arms of forgiveness are reached out to set you free. He looks down and sees your need, your need to forgive and be forgiven. God will wash away the shame and the guilt, as the spring rains wash the coldness of winter away. He will shine light upon the darkness of your troubled soul. He will heal the wounds of the past and forgive you of your sinful tendencies. God will break your chains of bondage, and you will find the strength to forgive those who have hurt you. The door opens for God to move in and heal you…”
