Satan’s Deception: Sonnet

Adam and Eve

The two became naked, and were afraid,

From the fruit eaten that horrible day.

Why did Satan come to steal and to raid?

The two, one spirit- jealousy did prey.

Was it is so enticing? Why did they eat?

Color- perceived what they wanted to be?

Why looked upon as a tasty treat?

Lied to, desired, perception to see?

They walked within the garden day by day.

In charge of beasts, fowl, and fish of the sea.

Its deception, made pleasant, he did portray.

Disliked being cast, so eat was the plea.

It was good to the eye, for knowledge sought.

Perception was made, though not as thought.

Until the redeemer arrived and bought.
